Modular Robotics is seeking an experienced marketing professional to help make the world a better place with thousands and thousands of tiny robots. This role will be fully responsible for developing and implementing a data-driven marketing strategy to increase both the top of the funnel and middle of the funnel. The perfect candidate will be a numbers nerd with an artist’s eye. You will be responsible for managing a variety of marketing and advertising campaigns across several different platforms; and will be responsible for a modest advertising and graphic design budget.  

This position will be part of the Business Strategy team, and will work closely with the CEO, VP of People Operations, Director of IT, and Head of Accounting to incorporate marketing strategies into the mid-term and long-term company goals.  

Education is at our roots. Cubelets® robot blocks are used in thousands of learning institutions worldwide and every day brings us new educators excited to introduce our kits to their students. We need someone who can bridge the gap between our minimalist branding preferences and the educator community, and help us scale from individual educator customers to district-wide adoptions.

This role will involve:

  • Analyzing data to make recommendations about geographical target audiences; school district attributes; and other specific target markets for advertising and branded campaigns.
  • Developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan with relevant partners and stakeholders.
  • Creating, managing, optimizing, and expanding an Amazon Marketing strategy. 
  • Managing multiple campaigns on multiple social media platforms simultaneously.
  • Identifying partnerships to build business with key educators.
  • Maintaining the branded appearance of websites and web stores. 
  • Managing a variety of graphic design partners in creating several branded templates and galleries for company-wide use. 
  • Supporting the planning and execution of national, regional, and local sales events and event follow up.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in Marketing, Education, and other business areas to achieve company goals.
  • Possessing a passion for the work we do and the impact robot construction systems have on learners.

 

You are:

  • A marketing professional with experience reaching educators and district administrators, and have a proven ability to demonstrate marketing- and advertising-driven revenue growth.
  • Knowledgeable about the different decision makers within American schools.
  • Analytical in order to synthesize data efficiently to optimize and scale effective campaigns.
  • Fluent in using Adobe Creative Cloud and GoogleDrive products. 
  • Able to manage strong relationships with multiple contractors and internal teams.
  • A self-starter who is detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. 
  • Willing and able to jump in to do whatever is required to reach our goals.

 

Salary Range: $70,000-90,000 plus benefits.
